Bollywood’s favourite new-age mom, Reema Lagoo, breathed her last following a cardiac arrest in Mumbai on Thursday morning. The versatile actor who was a part of several theatre productions, TV shows and films was 59 and she breathed her last at Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
Reema Lagoo started her career in 1970’s both in Hindi and Marathi films. A popular face in the 80s and 90s, Reema Lagoo started her acting career in 1970s and will always be remembered for her roles in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’. Her contribution to Indian television is also commendable, ‘Tu Tu Main Main’ and ‘Shriman Shrimati’ are some of her notable roles in small screen.
In the hit film Ktyar Kaljat Ghusli, she did the voice over for the Katyar.
