Fitness Series : 1. Benefits of Drinking Water!

Here I am starting with my weight loss series. A lot of people have recently been asking me about my own weight loss and how to go about it. So we would go by my tried and tested approach. My request is to not rush behind CRASH DIETS and too much of gyming at a time. Let’s get it straight, this is not an overnight change. But I am sure of a fact that you will be happily glowing by the time you achieve your set target.

It goes this way, we are going to work step by step. Every week I will post and drive you through one thing slowly. I will try to do this in the minimum possible expenses for you, so if you are low on pockets and still determined at heart, you are at the right place. So let the Magic Begin. Let us understand how water helps kick-start the process.Water has two aspects; when mixed with anything its NEED and when it is not, it is life!

With the end of our teen age era and beginning of a sedentary lifestyle, our metabolism takes a toll. I have had cases who have informed that their scale fluctuates with anything and everything they feed themselves with. We have seen that a few people eat a lot and yet do not get a flick fat. This is all the game of your body’s Metabolic rate.

Observational studies have shown that people who drink mostly water have up to a 9% (or 200 calories) lower calorie intake, on average. Drinking water may also help prevent long-term weight gain. In general, the average person gains about 1.45 kg (3.2 lbs) every 4 years.

Let us understand the statistics correct. Every 20kg of body weight requires 1ltr of water. We can decide our daily minimum quantity accordingly. 

How to inculcate the habbit:

1. Start conciously reminding yourself about drinking more water. 

2. Keep a bottle/glass/mug full of water always handy as trends suggest that we miss out here on account of laziness.

3. Remember to drink 1 glass of water before every meal
